A trip through the cemeteries of Freeborn County will immediately show the visitors the great diversity of people who settled and still live in the area. From Bohemian settlers in the southern part of the county to the Irish settlers in the north and the majority of Norwegian settlers, the area has benefited from their strengths. Visitors to the cemeteries of Freeborn County may not have any connections with the people buried there, but these people may learn much through that walk.
