It has been quite awhile since there has been a genealogy workshop in the area. The Historical Museum and the Genealogical Society have decided to co-host a workshop.
Genealogical projects and publications by groups, businesses and individuals will be on display and for sale. If you want a display table at the conference, or would like to have brochures available that day, please contact:

There will be a Surname Search List posed of those names submitted with registrations. You will be able to make contacts during the two days with genealogists having common surnames.
A tour of the Freeborn County Historical Village will be given Saturday, August 28th at 4:30 pm. Registration Deadline is August 1st. Registration Fee is $30.00.

We have scheduled a trip to the World's Largest Genealogical Library. The Trip date is Sunday, October 3rd through Saturday, October 9th, 2010. The cost listed below is per person, for members and includes transportation to the airport, room and orientation class. Non-members add $50 to the listed amounts.(Meals and air fare are not included)

We will be staying at the Salt Lark Plaza Hotel, which is located next door to the library in downtown Salt Lake City.
There will be a class orientation at the library to start the week and then you are on your own to work at the library or sight see in downtown Salt Lake City at you leisure.
